CODA STUDIO DENVER HELPS CLIENTS DECORATE WITH SINGULAR CUSTOM-BUILT FURNITURE.
CODA STUDIO DENVER is more than just a purveyor of luxury home decor—it’s a working design studio. Architect and owner Angela Feddersen consults with clients to create distinctive pieces that will fit seamlessly into their home spaces. “I’ve always wanted to provide the full range—from architecture through interiors, finishes and furnishings,” she says. Coda Studio, which opened in Cherry Creek in spring 2020, is a gallery of bespoke furniture, fine art, home accessories and lighting, all with what Feddersen calls “a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe.”

“Our design philosophy revolves around natural materials—wood, honed marble and rattan—in handmade furnishings,” Feddersen says of the shop, which is aligned with California-based Coda Industries. “Because we have our own manufacturer in L.A., we have the ability to customize fabrics, sizes—really anything. Most of our furniture is made in the U.S., but we also have a factory in Bali, which adds international flavor.” Coda sources materials such as reclaimed wood from Southern California and seeks out local and artisanal sellers for the studio’s array of original art and accessories.
Recent installations include a home near Aspen, for which Coda built 12 pieces of furniture, including a huge live-edge wood dining table weighing more than 800 pounds. The owners of a new modern home in Polo Club, working with Studio D Designs, commissioned more than 20 pieces that Coda built to the studio’s specs. The deep, tufted sectional in Michael Jon Designs’ Romo pewter fabric fits in the living room’s exact footprint, and the walnut side tables were built in custom heights to align with the sofa. “It was all very, very custom,” says Feddersen. 248 Detroit St., Denver, 720.610.7727, coda.studio
