HUMAN TOUCH is one of those basic needs that’s been sorely missed during the pandemic. Remember hugs and handshakes? (Will they ever be a thing again?) We can live with fist-bumps and elbow taps in the boardroom, but right now, we all deserve a therapeutic massage, a detoxifying body scrub and a good long soak.
Formerly known as Allegria, the spa at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek was rebranded in 2020 as Exhale | Fit. Spa. Life. The name is new, but the 30,000-square-foot facility still has its signature Aqua Sanitas Water Sanctuary, with a coed hot tub as well as separate men’s and women’s havens. Each area features a rain shower, soaking tub and steam room, as well as a Tepidarium where you can relax on heated stone lounge chairs, before or after treatments. “We really recommend guests make it a full day for an immersive spa and wellness experience,” says spa director Angie Brown. The space also has four outdoor hot tubs and a lap pool situated at the base of Beaver Creek.
New to the spa lineup for summer is the Radiance Facial, an 80-minute treatment that combines cold-pressed cosmeceutical ingredients to moisturize and improve skin tone with a multistep exfoliation and masking process to deep clean environmental pollutants trapped in skin follicles. The treatment finishes with CBD-infused facial oil, botanicals, antioxidants and plant stem cells to leave skin hydrated and glowing.
This summer, Exhale is offering monthly memberships that let you save on spa therapies while enjoying unfettered access to Aqua Sanitas, group fitness classes and the fitness center. Private sessions on the Reformer with a master Pilates instructor can be added for an additional fee. 136 E. Thomas Place, Beaver Creek, 970.748.7500, exhalespa.com
