DALWHINNIE FARMS BOUTIQUE opened not far from Aspen’s Hotel Jerome in the midst of the pandemic in a town with roughly one dispensary for every thousand citizens. But this shop stands out from the rest for its unique curation of elevated offerings: It stocks everything from connoisseur-grade cannabis to premium leather goods to a James Vilona crystal saddle. The interior design, created by Terra Rosa Design Labs, is warm and inviting with comfortable sofas and a Western-inspired aesthetic.

Dalwhinnie Farms is named for the former dressage ranch in Ridgway where the shop’s plants are cultivated. Recently featured as a Forbes Destination Dispensary (“celebrating the highest design concepts across North America”), Dalwhinnie offers premium cannabis products for everything from a bad knee to a bad day. You’ll find topical pain relief creams, tinctures, concentrates and edibles, as well as sativa, indica and hybrid cultivars.

“The number-one focus for our dispensary has always been wellness,” says Dalwhinnie Farms CEO Brandon Barksdale. “We not only give our guests an experience of a traditional cannabis dispensary in a very curated and educational manner, but we also make it fun for our non-cannabis-consuming guests.” Not a partaker? Peruse the boutique’s selection of designer apparel, art and home decor—or take a selfie with the shop’s life-sized golden horse statue. 108 S. Mill St., Aspen, dalwhinnie.com
