Kelly Hollins and Lisa Cohen bring clean, whole foods from their kitchen to your door.
Hearty, flavorful salads are on the Good Clean Food delivery menu.
Female-founded, plant-based food delivery service Good Clean Food, the brainchild of Lisa Cohen and Kelly Hollins, brings clean food to the Aspen Valley, with a minimal carbon footprint and a whole lot of love. Hollins and Cohen saw a need in the market but wanted to provide a service that created little waste and had minimal logistics—sustainability and the environment are immensely important to the two (no plastic, please!). The idea of healthy foods delivered in glass jars was in the back of their minds for quite some time, and together they would make it happen. The pair started cooking for one client, which turned into four, then 12, followed by 30, and thus Good Clean Food was born. Literal to its name, Good Clean Food aims to offer exactly that: clean food, but with a purpose. Each menu is carefully curated with health being the No. 1 priority. Many of the menu ideas come from Hollins and Cohen's clients, and oftentimes from each other.
This dynamic duo gets creative while cooking. “We pull ideas out of each other,” Hollins says. “As we are in the kitchen working on a dish, one of us will chime in... 'Oh, wouldn’t this sauce go so well with the roasted radishes and sweet potatoes from last week?' Ideas flow in and we go with it; our team of chefs inspires us weekly!”
