Tony Calle is a member of Team USPA and started competing at Grand Champions six years ago. He has won several 12- and 20-goal tournaments, including the USPA North American National 20-Goal and Molina Cup; many of these W’s occurred while playing with his father, Teo, for Ecuador-based Travieso. After graduating from Lynn University, he started his high-end furniture company, Florida-based BlackTree Decor, and one of his tables was exhibited at Art Basel Miami Beach.
Hometown: “I was born in Quito, Ecuador, and lived there for 18 years before changing my home base to Wellington, Fla.”

On the Field: “Tony is an assertive player, and very effective at playing defense,” says Melissa.
Off the Field: “I love going to concerts and listening to all genres of music. And I’m constantly looking for new business opportunities.”
Favorite Aspen Cross-Training Methods: “The Aspen Golf Course with my team and friends. Not only are the conditions spectacular, but it helps keep me focused and mentally strong. I also enjoy Aspen’s nature and hiking. Getting out of cell service and spending a day or two with no distractions is priceless. My favorite hike so far is American Lake.”
